Be kind and let people know that you received their message
Folks get dozens .. sometimes hundreds .. of emails and texts every day. We have no way to know if a person received our message or, if they did receive it, whether they read it or not .. UNLESS we respond in some way.
Replying with the letter ‘K’ takes about two seconds and solves this dilemma!
Critics of this brief response say that people should reply with at least ‘OK’, or a few words. No one would deny that. But deferring until time permits for a longer response message is the essence of the problem.
The question is, would you rather have one letter (K) .. or no response at all, because the person didn’t have the time, at that particular moment, to provide the reply that you would like? Is it better to be left in the dark .. questioning whether your message was received?
Do the right thing .. do unto others. Remove the stress from your friends and associates. Reply With The Letter ‘K’ ! :^)
